Barak Diskin - Entrepreneur Building Global Brands
An accomplished entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, Barak Diskin was part of the founding teams of MeUndies (2010 to 2013) and City Storage Systems LLC (2015 to 2024). Before jumping into entrepreneurship, Barak Diskin worked in the real estate industry. He first worked with Decron Properties Group, rising to the level of acquisitions and development associate, before exiting to do his own deal syndications.
Barak Diskin began his entrepreneurial journey in 2010 with MeUndies. He co-founded the company with his childhood friend Jonathan Shokrian. Relying on stand-out product designs, smart scaling, and bold moves, the two grew the niche underwear subscription company to over $100 million in sales, attracting notable investors like Winklevoss Capital and Science Inc. Barak Diskin left MeUndies, but his foundational work remains the pillar that has supported MeUndies’ global reach (33 million pairs of underwear sold in 37 countries as of 2024).
In 2015, Barak Diskin partnered with Diego Berdakin and Sky Dayton to co-found City Storage Systems LLC, the parent company of CloudKitchens. Mr. Diskin was first the company’s COO and later head of real estate. Leveraging his real estate background from Decron, he built out CloudKitchens’ physical footprint from just one location in Koreatown in Los Angeles to over 400 locations worldwide. The company has secured investments from prominent organizations, including Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, giving it a valuation of $15 billion in 2021. Mr. Diskin has a finance degree from the University of Miami.
