My position as a Site Agent was short as I had to acknowledge the opportunity to go and study mechanical engineering. But for the months as a Site Agent i excelled at resolving challenges and ensuring project runs smoothly. I led a team of subcontractors and workers, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals. Through regular progress reviews, I proactively identified potential issues like material shortages or unexpected site conditions. By leveraging my problem-solving skills and communication expertise, I developed and implemented effective solutions to minimize delays and maintain project quality. My commitment to safety remained paramount, with regular inspections and safety briefings ensuring a secure work environment. As the client's primary liaison, I fostered trust by providing clear and timely updates through reports and presentations. My meticulous record-keeping practices documented every project facet, and my cost-control measures included monitoring budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and efficiently processing subcontractor claims.

While I thrived as a Technical Quantity Surveyor I was leveraging my expertise in procurement and cost analysis. My responsibilities included identifying and sourcing cost-effective materials and equipment through rigorous market research and supplier negotiations. By effectively managing purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries, I minimized project delays and ensured efficient material flow. Working as a Technical Quantity Surveyor, I spearheaded cost control measures. I then compiled a comprehensive bill of quantities, establishing the project scope and initial budget. This included assisting senior colleagues with precise quantity take-offs from construction drawings, participating in the preparation of bidding documents to understand construction contracts.
