Boro "Bob" Skoric

President & Ceo of Skoric Hearing Aid Center
Boro "Bob" Skoric has dedicated nearly four decades to helping people reconnect with sound. As an audioprosthologist and board-certified specialist in hearing instrument sciences, he merges his expertise with a deep passion for his patient's well-being. He is the founder and president of Beltone-Skoric Hearing Aid Center, which has grown to 37 locations throughout northern Michigan. His goal remains consistent: to help people regain their hearing and improve their quality of life. Born in Eastern Europe and now living in West Palm Beach, Florida, Bob Skoric initially pursued a music career. For over 30 years, he performed Serbian folk and Balkan music, both locally and internationally, giving him a unique appreciation for the emotional power of sound. Growing up in Donji Stepci, he was influenced by his father and uncles, who played the guitar. At age eight, he began playing the guitar and later discovered his passion for the accordion, which he learned under the guidance of a respected teacher. His dedication to music earned him the title "First Accordion of North America and Canada" in 1985. Skoric enjoys recording acoustic music in his home studio and cherishing time with his family when he's not working with patients. His early exposure to music shaped his understanding of sound as something deeply human, not just a scientific concept. This realization led him to a career in hearing care, where he now helps those who have withdrawn from the world due to hearing loss. Though not a medical doctor, he holds certification in audioprosthology and hearing instrument sciences. His work involves assessing hearing loss and fitting patients with hearing aids. He is also a member of the International Hearing Society and has previously served as Vice President of the Michigan Alliance of Hearing Care Professionals. Boro has helped over 20,000 individuals improve their hearing. His work extends beyond just fitting hearing aids; he is committed to educating patients about the impact of untreated hearing loss and the solutions available. Boro Skoric’s dedication continues to inspire his work. His commitment to improving lives through hearing care remains his guiding principle as he helps others rediscover the world around them.
