Brendon Falconer grew up in York, Pennsylvania, where he developed a strong interest in athletics and performance. As a dedicated track and field athlete, he learned lessons in discipline, focus, and perseverance that would later influence his professional life. He pursued higher education with the same commitment, earning an accounting degree from Kent State University and completing an MBA at Indiana State University. His academic background in management and strategy prepared him for increasing responsibility in financial leadership roles.
His technical expertise includes financial accounting, asset and liability management, management reporting, and data analytics. He has worked extensively in econometric modeling, ACL development, and stress-testing frameworks. In addition, he has experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, investment portfolio oversight, and the design of hedging and derivatives strategies. These capabilities have allowed him to support executive decision-making with reliable analysis and structured planning.
In February 2014, Brendon joined Old National Bank as senior vice president and director of management reporting and data analytics. In this role, he strengthened enterprise financial and credit reporting and helped establish the bank’s first formal data science function. He later became treasurer in September 2016, overseeing liquidity, capital planning, market risk sensitivity, and treasury operations. He also led initiatives to improve deposit pricing and expand market risk analysis.
Since May 2019, Brendon has served as Old National Bank's senior executive vice president and chief financial officer. His responsibilities include financial accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, data analytics, procurement, and oversight of finance teams. During his tenure, the bank grew to more than $46 billion in combined assets and completed the acquisition of a $20 billion Chicago bank.
Beyond his executive career, Brendon Falconer has shared insights at the “Acquired or Be Acquired” banking conference and remains active in athletics and community service. He competed in the NCAA Division I decathlon and participated in the 2000 Olympic Trials. He continues to support nonprofit and educational organizations, contributing financial guidance and leadership where needed.
