Chapin recognized a market gap and needed an advisory service that works solely on behalf of the business owner without charging any upfront fees. Chapin’s response was to create 48North, a firm with a business model that ensures business owners can access expert advice without financial risk. 48North only collects compensation from the buyer once a deal is finalized, ensuring that business owners can receive valuable guidance without paying upfront. 48North offers buy-side advisory, capital raising, and succession planning services.
