NFRR - Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Worked on a data source migration project as an individual contributor in non-financial regulatory reporting team for a leading US investment bank. Analyzed CAT, CAIS, LOPR & LTID regulatory reporting and identified more than 250 data attributes, attribute types and source systems. Performed a gap analysis to identify data attributes availability and missing data points in proposed new data source. Co-ordinated with data source owners to better understand the data and find a solution to fill the identified gaps in new source system. Utilized the data source migration opportunity and enhanced the performance of existing customer reference data ingestion by 34% and security reference data ingestion by 46% by excluding out of scope customers & securities. RAFT Project Worked as a technical manager, managed a team of 5 people on an Aladdin client reporting implementation project for EMEA book of business of a leading US asset management firm. Analyzed accounting and risk data set of client's AMS for all key fields required for reporting of EMEA book of business. Analyzed gap between accountings and risk data set and Aladdin for all required data field and reported the gaps to client. Enhanced the existing attribution reporting in Aladdin Client Reporting by introducing net return from performance data set as requested by users. Configured more than 90 reporting deliverables to support newly introduced cascading feature in Aladdin Client Reporting which optimized the deliverable configurations.

Led the team developing and enhancing data pipeline which extract Card and Terminal data from back-office data sources and build reporting data source for back-office reporting. Designed and developed custom reporting framework to facilitate reporting customization for clients (US retail banks) which enhanced back-office reporting productivity. Led Agile ceremonies (daily stand up, sprint planning & retrospective) as scrum master. Facilitated cross functional collaboration to ensure efficient sprint execution. Coordinated with the SMEs and business analyst for requirement evaluation, refinement and maintaining reporting product backlog. Managed production release plans and led the product rollout in production with production support team. Analyzed business requirements to add new TCA metric or enhancing existing metric in transactional cost analysis application. Designed and developed new data pipeline (ETL workflow) to fetch required data elements from source to staging tables. Worked with the business SME to defined business rules for building new TCA metric or enhancing existing metrics and also created test plans to validate the metrics. Worked on Trade & Quotes data cleansing and loading into data warehouse through ETL workflows developed using Pentaho PDI (Kettle), Perl, Python & MySQL stored procedures. Worked on real time tick data (trades & quotes prices) integration with existing TCA application to perform real time analytics. Worked on data issues across all equity, futures & fixed income reporting and resolved data anomalies by analyzing existing mappings. Built and supported Amazon EC2 infrastructure for scaling up existing collecting & pre-processing NYSE trades and Quotes feeds. Supported administrative activities like data cleanup on file system, configuration and maintenance of MySQL database to ensure smooth transaction cost reporting.

Monitored and supported autosys batch jobs by fixing job failure as per the support documentation to troubleshoot and fix issues for client’s risk management applications. Performed SOD (Start of day) and EOD (End of day) checks to ensure application availability Worked on monitoring production server health, running stats on production database and maintaining QA and UAT servers in sync with the production. Monitored performance of batch jobs and suggested improvement to the development team to optimized runtime.
