I joined CADMEN in August 2022 as a Technical Application Engineer. During this period, I was responsible for presales and demonstrations of ANSYS low-frequency products, assisting academic and industry customers with training and technical support, and participating in marketing plans and seminar activities. After joining, I completed official training and earned ANSYS Level 1 and Level 2 certifications in 2023, along with multiple annual product certifications. My customer service experience in Taiwan primarily involves motors, consumer electronics, magnetic components, and power supply products. My tasks include analysis and measurement comparisons, product optimization, multiphysics coupling, and automating workflows using Python for ANSYS products. Additionally, I have gained knowledge in high-frequency and fluid products, addressing the SI/PI design needs, high-speed signal processing, and thermal management challenges of the AI era. (Software used: Maxwell, Simplorer, MotorCAD, Q3D, OptiSLang, IcePak, Spaceclaim, SIwave) Throughout my time at CADMEN, I have enhanced my skills in written communication, interpersonal relations, negotiation, project management, and stakeholder identification, leading to significant professional growth.

I earned my master’s degree in Electrical Power from Newcastle University with a 'Merit.' My dissertation focused on optimizing the performance of an in-wheel motor by increasing mean torque and reducing cogging torque and harmonics, crucial for electric vehicle applications. I used finite element analysis to improve the motor’s efficiency and performance. In addition to my research, I studied power electronics, motor design, controller design, and electric drive control, gaining both theoretical and practical skills. I also joined the Leadership Development Society, where I developed key leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, enhancing my ability to work effectively in teams and lead projects. Overall, my experience at Newcastle prepared me for challenges in electrical engineering, especially in motor design and power systems, with a focus on electric vehicles and renewable energy. Bachelor degree experience: I studied at the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, but I gradually learned that engineering is more suitable for me in the design department. Therefore, after completing a minor degree in innovative product design in the first two years of my university career, I immediately transferred to the Department of Electro-Optical Engineering and completed a bachelor's degree in the next three years. My research direction is to design a Hollow-Cavity Edge-Type (HCET) LED illumination system. As the research moving on, I self-studied the ASAP (Advanced System Analysis Program) software that I learned in the class of the Department of Electro-Optical Engineering for the high light extraction efficiency of the illumination system. Moreover, in order to make our product more functional and designed I strengthened the SolidWorks (3D drawing software) software which I learned in the innovative product design department so that it can be placed on a non-flat surface or adhered to the wall using vacuum chucks. In the end, I won many competition awards both inside and outside the school. Besides, I was also actively involved in various activities in the department during my college life, so that I could better understand the importance of teamwork. For example, in the seven-series joint welcome event, I was a team leader and designed various activities to make it easier for the team to be familiar with each other and led the junior brothers and sisters in the school to win the reward.
