Jaime Irick is a distinguished executive and innovative leader with a record of transforming organizations and delivering impactful results. Most recently, Jaime served as CEO of Pittsburgh Paints Company, where he successfully led a $2 billion carve-out and transition to private equity ownership, establishing the company as a standalone leader in the paints and building products sector across North America. His strategic oversight ensured the company’s expansive reach—750 company-owned stores and a broad presence in both national and independent retail channels—continued to serve homeowners and professionals alike with industry-leading products. Throughout his professional journey, Jaime has earned a reputation for developing high-performing teams and guiding organizations through significant change. After joining PPG in 2019, he steadily advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately overseeing two primary business units as Senior Vice President: Architectural Coatings for the United States and Canada, and Global Traffic Solutions. In this capacity, he was responsible for more than $3 billion in revenue and a workforce exceeding 7,000 employees. He also played a key strategic role as a member of PPG’s Operating Committee. Before PPG, Jaime was President of Life Fitness, a $1 billion division of Brunswick Corporation and a worldwide leader in commercial fitness equipment. Under his leadership, Life Fitness underwent a successful sale to KPS Capital Partners, demonstrating Jaime’s expertise in managing complex business transitions. His earlier career at General Electric spanned over a decade, during which he held several significant leadership roles, including President & CEO of GE Lighting Solutions and a Company Officer at GE. Jaime championed GE’s global LED lighting strategy and launched innovative educational programs, including the founding of a pioneering STEM high school located on GE’s campus. Jaime’s leadership extends beyond corporate boundaries. He serves as a board member at Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 300 manufacturing company with nearly $16 billion in annual revenue. He actively supports nonprofit organizations focused on education and community development. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jaime holds a degree in Systems Engineering and is a former Division I basketball player. He served in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer, achieving the rank of Captain and earning Army Airborne Ranger credentials. After his military service, Jaime earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, further sharpening his leadership skills.
