Janel Schermerhorn is pursuing an MSc in Data, Inequality & Society at the University of Edinburgh. She is the President of the American Women’s Club of Berlin and a two-time Moth Story Slam winner, bringing her passion for storytelling and community building to her work as a Podcast Producer for "Mom’s Secret Fort." Committed to inclusivity and volunteerism, Janel actively supports nonprofits such as Common Ground Berlin and the Nourishing Networks Food Box Program. With a background in consulting and psychology, she is dedicated to strengthening communities and exploring creative writing.
