As the CEO of MavDB Consulting, LLC and the founder of Blackstone Mercantile Group, he works closely with companies looking to raise capital, enhance their investor communications, and enter international markets. His work spans major exchanges, including the NYSE, Nasdaq, LSE, Euronext, and Canadian Securities Exchange. He has consistently helped companies navigate the regulatory and strategic challenges of going public or expanding globally. Josh Bartch began his entrepreneurial career in Denver, Colorado. While attending Colorado State University, he founded his first company, which he later sold. That early success led to his co-founding of a digital transcription platform in 2007, providing professional transcription services for legal, academic, and healthcare clients. The platform became widely used for its reliability and focus on accuracy. In 2011, he launched a private investment and advisory firm dedicated to early and growth-stage companies. This firm supported businesses in structuring capital, identifying strategic partners, and preparing for IPOs. The hands-on approach focused on creating sustainable value and building readiness for the public markets. In 2020, after moving to Puerto Rico, he established MavDB Consulting, LLC. The firm offers consulting services centered on capital markets strategy and investor relations. Through this venture, he supports businesses in refining their positioning, strengthening leadership communication with stakeholders, and identifying new growth avenues. His team works closely with company leadership to align goals with execution, often becoming integral to the business development process. In 2024, Josh Bartch founded Blackstone Mercantile Group Ltd SAC, a smart fund based in the Bahamas. The fund was created for sophisticated investors seeking exposure to global capital opportunities. It combines flexibility with strong oversight while operating under the Bahamas Smart Fund regime. Its approach is rooted in data and risk management, aiming to deliver consistent performance while staying aligned with international financial standards. He has spent much of his career helping businesses prepare for and complete large financial transactions, offering practical guidance rooted in experience. Outside his professional work, Josh Bartch is active in philanthropy. He supports ND Hope’s educational efforts in Africa, regularly donates to veteran and first responder organizations, and contributes to Boxing Bullies, a nonprofit boxing program focused on youth development in Puerto Rico. After Hurricane Maria, he also supported disaster relief efforts across the island.
