As a full-charge accountant/controller, operated and oversaw the accounting, finance, and human resources departments to maintain the financial well-being of the company. Accounting, Finance: -Accurately generated 30-50 invoices per week to send to customers based on contract terms, as well as inspected sales associates’ invoices to ensure that all aspects are correct. -Created, analyzed, and presented clear financial analysis reports every month, quarter, and year to inform officers and employees of the current financial state of the company, motivating sales teams to set and reach revenue goals. -Performed daily bank reconciliations and weekly accounts receivable/payable aging reports to maintain a precise record of company accounts and attentively control cash flows when issuing payments. -Eliminated accounting/order management discrepancies and issues between customers and company, successfully collecting payments and reducing accounts receivable turnover rate from 41.4 days in 2020 to 39 days by 2021 EOY. Human Resources: -Processed timely semi-monthly payrolls for all 15 W-2 employees and biweekly payrolls for 10 to 20 1099 independent contractors, communicating with employees and supervisors to confirm correct hours and rates are reflected in employee paychecks. -Informed employees of company rules and benefits when questions arise, assisting employees in gaining a clearer understanding of the company’s human resources policies. -Walked all new hires through the company onboarding process, establishing a warm rapport between new hires and self as the first point of introduction to the company.
