Ken Termini Basketball

Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Professional
Ken Termini has built a successful career that spans the pharmaceutical industry and high school sports. Today, he is dedicated to helping college student leaders translate their experiences into success during job interviews. Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Penn State University in 1987, which is the foundation for his professional path. He began his career at Revlon before moving to Forest Pharmaceuticals, where he would spend the next 27 years. Over his time with the company, he advanced through several sales and management positions, gaining extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector. Ken's contributions to Forest Pharmaceuticals were quickly recognized. He earned the company's highest honors, including Rookie of the Year, Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year. His performance led to multiple promotions, and in 2002, he was appointed to the corporate office, where he headed the State Government Affairs Department. In 2005, he took on a new challenge, creating and leading the Federal Public Policy & Government Affairs Department, a critical role during the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Ken's final position in the pharmaceutical field was as an Anti-Infective Hospital Specialist at Forest Laboratories (now Allergan), focusing on infectious diseases and hospital-based treatments. Ken set a goal to retire by age 50, a milestone he achieved through careful planning and discipline. At 19, a friend's father advised him to divide his life into three phases: learning, working hard to provide for his family, and finally, enjoying the results of his efforts. Ken adhered to this advice throughout his career, building a comprehensive financial, estate, and tax plan and working with trusted advisors to ensure his success. Having accomplished his retirement goal, Ken Termini now focuses on helping others, particularly college student leaders, by guiding them in leveraging their experiences and skills when entering the workforce. His passion for mentoring and providing practical advice continues to shape his work as he helps others take the next step in their careers. Ken's approach combines real-world experience with a deep understanding of students' challenges as they transition into the professional world.
