At SGX FX, I oversee the integration of the FIX protocol for institutional clients and liquidity providers, facilitating high-performance, custom connectivity to our electronic FX trading infrastructure. My role involves FIX development, client onboarding and technical support. - Design, code, and maintain FIX workflows using internal APIs , tailoring message logic to client and venue requirements. - Perform comprehensive testing of trading workflows (orders, executions and allocations) to ensure clean communication between client OMS, SGX FX systems and external venues. - Manage full integration lifecycles, from initial client engagement and certification to production go-live and post-deployment support. - Troubleshoot FIX-related issues in collaboration with engineering teams using database queries and log analysis to identify the root cause. - Utilise Python and SQL to build automation scripts and integration tools that improve onboarding efficiency and data validation.
