Moonfier is an urban designer based in Tokyo. She graduated from The University of Hong Kong and pursued her master’s studies at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. She began her career at AECOM Hong Kong, focusing on new town development, housing issues, and public space design. In 2019, driven by her interest in Japanese urban planning and design, she joined Nikken Sekkei. Her work spanned master planning projects ranging from 1ha to 1000ha, covering both domestic and international projects. These experiences across diverse cultural contexts deepened her understanding of the interplay between spatial design and local culture. In 2023, Moonfier joined the MUJI Spatial Design Team, where she focuses on placemaking, local revitalization, and collaborative design approaches. Her work involves public space projects, MUJI House wooden architecture concepts, and exterior design, while also contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives in alignment with MUJI's vision of "a simple, pleasant life."
