Managed end-to-end procurement for all aspects and new materials development/ transfer projects, reporting to Procurement Manager. Achieved compliance with ISO/IATF standards by coordinating with cross-functional team to develop targeted supplier audit programs and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives, resulting in streamlined procurement workflows and increased cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
(1) Project coordination
• Managed and led purchasing team for new projects and ensure project targets (Quality /Cost /Delivery/Sustainability/Timeline) were met from purchasing side and within budget goals.
• Worked closely with Production, R&D, Engineering, and Quality teams to align with Purchase project strategy for direct and indirect materials.
• Negotiation of project-specific conditions, controlled BOM and took responsibility for purchased parts cost evaluation, validation and alignment as part of acquisition phase until SOP.
• Tracked and evaluated project-related changes of purchased parts.
• Implemented process change and transformation initiatives together with cross-functional teams.
(2) Procurement activities
• Oversaw end-to-end supply chain processes: sourcing, purchasing, transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance through SAP system management.
• Developed and implemented material planning strategies aligned with production forecasts.
• Optimized inventory levels to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
Cost Optimization & Compliance
• Identified cost-saving opportunities by executing group-wide bidding process and 4M change initiatives.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive design for cost and supply initiatives, aiming to reduce material costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Reviewed existing processes or implemented new procedures to streamline operations.
• Supervised and trained team members through regular coaching and development sessions.
• Improved planning processes through system enhancements and tool optimization.
Vendor Management & Negotiation
• Conducted supplier qualification, contract negotiations and maintain preferred supplier list to secure best value in cost, quality, and lead time, proposing alternative solutions to enhance value.
• Developed and managed supplier database, including indirect and direct materials with over 400 vendors.
Reporting & Documentation
• Monitored supplier performance (QCD) on key KPIs and drove continuous improvement in lead times, delivery reliability, and cost.
• Coordinated with Quality team to conduct onsite audits annually.
• Addressed internal and external audits from third-party auditors and customers.

• Achieved cost reductions of up to 10% through strategic supplier negotiations, sourcing of alternative materials, and establishment of long-term supply agreements.
