Oxford Advisory Group is a private, family-owned retirement planning and wealth management firm based in Orlando, Florida, with additional presence in Sarasota, Jacksonville, Tampa, Mount Dora, and South Carolina. As an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), the firm works with high-net-worth pre-retirees and retirees who want structured guidance as they prepare for retirement. Its services include retirement income planning, tax-efficient financial strategies, estate planning support, Social Security maximization, required minimum distribution planning, and broader wealth planning intended to help clients reduce common financial risks, including excessive taxes in retirement.
The firm was founded in 2019 by brothers Christopher and Samuel Dixon. Their decision to establish the company was influenced by personal family experiences with poor financial and tax guidance that led to harmful retirement outcomes. Those experiences shaped the firm’s focus on education and careful financial planning. Since its founding, the company has worked to help individuals and families better understand their financial options and make informed retirement decisions.
Oxford Advisory Group has received recognition for its growth and workplace culture. In 2024, the company was included on Inc.’s 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, reflecting revenue growth between 2021 and 2023. In 2025, the Orlando Business Journal named the firm one of Orlando’s Best Places to Work. That same year, it also received Central Florida’s Favorite awards for Best Financial Advisor and Best Wealth Management Firm. In early 2026, the firm marked the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of its expanded office in Mount Dora, Florida.
