Robert Parrinelli
Robert Parrinelli is a New York trial attorney and managing partner at Appell & Parrinelli, where he has spent more than two decades handling personal injury, construction accidents, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. Over the years, he has represented thousands of clients and secured numerous multi-million-dollar results through steady, focused, and methodical legal work.
He grew up in the greater New York metropolitan area and went on to study at Hofstra University, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management in 2000. During college, he played on the Men’s Division I Lacrosse Team and served as team captain in his senior year. That same season, he was chosen to compete in the U.S.I.L.A. North-South All-Star Game, an honor recognizing top collegiate players. After completing his undergraduate degree, he continued his education at Hofstra University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2003.
After being admitted to the New York State Bar in 2004, Robert began his legal career in New York City as an associate trial attorney under the guidance of his mentor. Their work together provided a strong foundation for courtroom practice and eventually led to the establishment of Appell & Parrinelli, where he later became a named and managing partner.
In this role, he leads a firm dedicated to assisting individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries or losses. The practice handles motor vehicle accidents, construction and worksite incidents, premises liability matters, defective products, wrongful death cases, commercial property disputes, and medical malpractice claims. He is selective with the cases he accepts so that each client receives his direct attention and a focused strategy.
Some of the firm’s significant results include $6.5 million for a child injured by a defective radiator, a $6.3 million verdict involving a contaminated food product, construction accident outcomes of $3.3 million and $3.1 million, a $2.7 million result in a medical malpractice case involving a missed cardiac arrest diagnosis, and additional settlements of $3.1 million in a premises case and $2.3 million in a motor vehicle accident.
Robert's experience extends across claims involving unsafe property conditions, motor vehicle collisions, construction site injuries, medical malpractice, product liability, toxic exposure, lead poisoning, labor discrimination, sexual harassment, and defamation. He is admitted to all New York State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and he participates in statewide trial lawyer associations.
Outside of his legal practice, he mentors young attorneys, coaches youth lacrosse, supports charitable efforts, completed the New York City Marathon for a spinal cord injury foundation, and remains active in community programs. As a father of four, he maintains a strong commitment to balancing family life with professional responsibilities, values that continue to guide Robert Parrinelli's work and character.
