Selected by SONY Japan HQ's Elite Project Program and assigned to Malaysia to establish a regional supply chain hub. Successfully launched a new warehouse in Port Klang within 6 months, supporting logistics operations for 32+ destination countries including the US, Europe, Latin America, Japan, China, and the Middle East.
˙Supply Chain Optimization & Cost Reduction:
Led end-to-end logistics operations under MMCC (Malaysia Multiple Countries Consideration) and NVOCC frameworks.Developed strategies to minimize LCL shipments and improve FCL utilization, resulting in USD $2.4M annual logistics cost savings through optimized container
loading for over 300 containers weekly from Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.
˙ERP & WMS System Utilization:
Worked extensively with SONY’s in-house ERP system (SPARKLE) for production,procurement,
and shipping coordination. Simultaneously operated WMS systems for warehouse control,
inventory visibility, and order fulfillment accuracy, enabling integrated management of inbound, outbound, and international logistics flows.
˙Global Coordination & Performance Monitoring: Coordinated supply plans and shipping capacity across 32+ countries to ensure on-time and budget-aligned deliveries. Directed logistics improvements for major product lines (BRAVIA, BLUE-RAY), monitored KPIs, and maintained performance reporting to senior management and clients.
˙Team & Warehouse Management:
Managed warehouse operations with a team of 50+ personnel (including managers,supervisors,
and operators). Oversaw daily execution, resource allocation, and process adherence, while ensuring alignment with factory sites and procurement teams across Asia.
˙Early Role – Taiwan Logistics Hub:
Prior to Malaysia assignment, served as Senior Logistics Specialist in SONY Taiwan, overseeing export logistics for AUO’s LCD panel business (~1,000 TEUs / month). Responsibilities included inventory control, warehouse efficiency improvement, space negotiation with carriers, and resolution of delivery exceptions or claims across regions such as Brazil, Mexico, Europe, and Japan.
