Ryan Edward Rock's tour of duty in Iraq was difficult, but it was nothing compared to what he witnessed when he returned home to Ames, Iowa. Just in time for his younger sister's graduation from ISU, Rock found himself reeling from the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder. Rock quickly caught up and completed two semesters with a heavy course load of 18 credits each to complete his degree. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the school in the spring semester of 2005.
