At Comay, I was responsible for managing and developing key accounts in the North American market, including major retail chains and department stores such as JCPenney, Bed Bath & Beyond, H.G. Buying, The Home Depot and Target, etc. My role involved comprehensive account management—from order processing and shipment coordination to payment follow-up and customer complaint resolution.
Additionally, I frequently worked at our Dongguan office in China, where I liaised directly with factories. This hands-on experience gave me a solid understanding of production workflows and a wide range of materials, including ceramic, polyresin, MDF, wood, stainless steel, metal, and plastic.
I also had the opportunity to work at our U.S. branch office in New Jersey and attend the New York Textile Show twice a year. During these trips, I conducted in-store market surveys to gather firsthand insights on retail trends and price points, which were essential for product positioning and development strategies.

* Client Relationship Management: Maintained strong relationships with existing clients by overseeing the full order cycle, including production monitoring, shipment scheduling, and payment collection. Handled customer feedback and ensured timely resolution of issues.
* New Business Development: Proactively explored and developed new customer opportunities in the U.S. market through cold outreach, networking, and trade shows.
* Product Development: Led the development of new products, collaborating closely with the design team to incorporate new materials and designs tailored to market trends and customer needs.
* Supplier Sourcing: Identified and developed partnerships with new factories in both Taiwan and China, selecting manufacturers based on product requirements and customer specifications.
* Trade Show Management: Planned and organized both domestic and international exhibitions, including booth design, sample preparation, and on-site meetings with buyers.
* International Client Visits: Conducted regular business trips to meet with overseas clients, present new product lines, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
* Market Research: Collected and analyzed market intelligence, including retail pricing, design trends, and competitor activity, to inform product strategy and positioning.
* Sales Analysis & Forecasting: Reviewed sales performance, prepared year-end reports, and contributed to annual sales planning by setting realistic and strategic goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
