Thomas McCorry has built an accomplished 20-year career at Constellation Brands, a leading global producer of iconic beer, wine, and spirits brands such as Corona, Modelo, Meomi, Robert Mondavi, Casa Noble, Mi Campo, and Svedka. Throughout his tenure at Constellation, he assumed various senior financial roles, each contributing to the company's growth and operational efficiency. His leadership and expertise in economic strategy, risk management, and operational improvement supported the company's continued success.
As a Director, McCorry joined Constellation in 2004 and rapidly advanced within the company. As Vice President of Global Accounting, he oversaw the company's global accounting close process. Under his leadership, the company achieved significant improvements, including reducing the time to close by eight days while enhancing the quality of financial reporting. He also developed and streamlined global cash flow reporting processes, cutting preparation time by 10 days and improving overall efficiency. His work in these areas ensured greater accuracy and compliance in the U.S. and across the company's international divisions.
In 2012, McCorry took on the role of Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for Wine & Spirits, where he directed the financial strategy for the U.S. Wines & Spirits business, which generated $2.7 billion in profit. Two years later, he transitioned to Vice President of Commercial Finance. In this position, he introduced zero-based budgeting and centralized non-price investments, which enhanced financial visibility and aligned with commercial priorities. His leadership led to more substantial returns on investment and better alignment between economic goals and the company's commercial strategy.
McCorry's success continued in 2021 when he became Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Beer Division, overseeing an $8 billion revenue business. In this role, he optimized capital investments, reduced planned capacity investments by $1.5 billion, and improved operational efficiency. His efforts in cost management and margin improvement drove the division's financial performance.
Before joining Constellation Brands, McCorry worked in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen for seven years.
