As a self-taught web developer, in my junior year I founded over five sites, including "Macondo", an online bookstore, and 2013's NTU graduates joint affairs committee, although they have not been discontinued. During my senior year, I tried compiling an e-book with my JavaScript and Node.js knowledge despite only 5 chapters were finished. In between semesters, I also taught 8 of my peers Node.js.

Prior to graduation, I founded CakeResume because there was no highly customizable online multimedia resume builder available at the time. With minimal features, CakeResume then provided a way to arrange simple resume layout and to publish your resume online. In spite of having less than a hundred users, some student actually successfully landed an internship at Firefox with the help of CakeResume. The site was hosted in my home desktop and a computer hardware failure forced it to be shut down during my time in the army.
