Victor Sheverda
Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager operating in the Greater Denver Area, where he is responsible for leading commercial projects from pre-construction through final delivery. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, confirming his ability to lead and complete construction initiatives with precision and structure. His work blends technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and professional discipline to ensure projects stay on track, within budget, and aligned with stakeholder goals.
His foundation in construction began with his family’s company, which specialized in building custom-spec homes. The company used Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) technology—an environmentally responsible construction method that builds energy-efficient, fire-resistant, highly durable structures. Exposure to this technology early in life profoundly influenced his commitment to sustainability and responsible building practices, which continue to guide his approach to commercial construction today.
He developed his skills through three summer internships with a major construction company. These experiences allowed him to contribute to high-impact projects and learn from experienced engineers and construction teams. After graduation, he moved into commercial construction, starting as a Project Engineer before advancing to Assistant Project Manager with a prominent general contractor in Colorado. In this role, he oversees subcontractor coordination, procurement processes, contract management, and owner communications, ensuring every project phase is executed carefully and efficiently.
In addition to his formal project management background, he is trained in Agile methodology. This approach enables him to break complex construction efforts into focused, manageable stages and adapt to client feedback during execution. His ability to manage change, mitigate risks, and maintain control of resources supports success on large-scale, high-stakes projects.
He spent part of his youth in Hawaii, where he developed an appreciation for the outdoors and the environment. Later, he attended Cherokee Trail High School in Colorado, excelling academically and as a four-year varsity tennis player, qualifying multiple times for regional and state tournaments. He began college studying Civil Engineering but later transferred to Colorado State University, where he completed his degree with a 3.78 GPA. He was inducted into the Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society and consistently placed on the Dean’s List.
During his academic journey, he completed internships on notable projects, including Market Station, RidgeGate Campus, and the restoration of the United States Capitol Building. The Capitol project remains one of his most memorable professional achievements, offering him the chance to contribute to preserving a national landmark. Following graduation, he worked as a Project Engineer on the National Western Center Campus Energy project, supporting the development of North America’s most extensive sewer-heat recovery system. He then became a Construction Estimator, analyzing subcontractor bids and preparing comprehensive project budgets. In 2022, he took on the role of Assistant Project Manager, continuing to manage procurement, scope, and contract compliance on large-scale efforts such as the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center.
Outside his professional responsibilities, he leads an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor pursuits such as hiking, climbing Colorado’s 14ers, and exploring trails in several states. He trains in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, skis, boxes, lifts weights, and supports environmental conservation through a national foundation. His interest in history and travel complements his lifelong learning and exploration commitment.
Victor Sheverda continues to apply his knowledge, experience, and values to every project he leads, focusing on quality, sustainability, and professional integrity in the construction industry.
