Senior Executive at CHRISTUS Health in the Dallas Area

Paul Generale has served as the executive vice president and chief strategy and network officer of the Catholic health system CHRISTUS Health since 2016. Over the course of more than 15 years, Paul Generale has held numerous director-level positions with the healthcare system. Based in the Dallas area, he focuses on CHRISTUS Health’s lead strategy, as well as its ambulatory and long-term care facilities. Previously, he led the company’s ambulatory services as the division’s senior vice president.

Prior to his current role, Paul Generale served as the regional chief financial officer and vice president at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe. He oversaw the finances of the health system’s New Mexico facilities, which comprise more than 25 locations. He has also held senior-level positions with CHRISTUS Health Information Technology in Dallas and CHRISTUS St. John Hospital in Houston.

Mr. Generale began his career with CHRISTUS shortly after earning a master’s degree in business with an emphasis in healthcare administration from the University of Houston. He also holds a BA in business administration from Baylor University.
