A California native, Dr. Henry Aryan is board-certified and has attained fellowships with the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons (FAANS). Dr. Henry's academic achievements began at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Cybernetics, graduating with the highest honors. He was recognized with numerous accolades, including membership in Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies, as well as the Cybernetics Honors Award. In addition to his academic pursuits, he excelled as a Division 1 athlete in the 110m hurdles, balancing a rigorous educational schedule with athletic commitments. His background in cybernetics laid the foundation for his future work in integrating technology with medical advancements, a theme that has continued throughout his career.


After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Aryan earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine. His time at UCI was marked by significant achievements, such as receiving the Dean's Office Medical Research Fellowship and the College of Medicine Dean's Service Award. He then completed his general surgical internship and a seven-year neurosurgery residency at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where he developed extensive experience in both spinal and cranial neurosurgery. Today, he continues to teach and mentor as a Clinical Professor at UCSF, offering his knowledge to medical students while focusing his practice on complex spinal conditions.
