Weicheng 跟 Trantor 本來就是朋友,同在創業的兩個人每半年會定期交流彼此的創業近況、分享實用的經驗。2019 年,Weicheng 剛剛結束前一個 Project,當他在考慮人生的下一個方向時,發現新加坡可能有一些有趣的機會,剛好 Trantor 也有此想法,兩人就一起前往新加坡觀察當地的新創文化、生態,評估加入這個市場的可能性。 此時,Weicheng 還沒有加入 Cake 的想法,但是在這趟旅程中,Weicheng 更加了解 Cake 的產品、Trantor 的目標與行事風格等等,也發現兩人其實蠻有一起工作的默契。 後來回到台灣,Weicheng 持續思考自己未來想要打造的藍圖,然後發現 Cake 的產品有機會在這片江山中扮演重要的角色。因此 Weicheng 主動向 Trantor 提出他的構想,從此之後,Cake 開始有了 CEO 跟 COO 兩個角色,兩人依照自己擅長的項目幫助公司和團隊成長,一同將 Cake 打造為高速成長的火箭。 如何應對 Cake 夥伴們彼此意見相左的情況? 「一開始就要精挑細選。」Trantor 直截了當地說,只要找的人理性且有共同的心態和目標,即便是意見不同時也能夠溝通。就像是 Trantor 和 Weicheng 兩人合作至今,每次都能夠討論出結果,不曾遇過僵持不下的窘況。 身為 COO,Weicheng 經常是招募夥伴的第一線,他最在意的是夥伴是否能夠「理性思考解決的方式」。就如同 Trantor 和 Weicheng 自己一樣,注重理性、邏輯,在討論問題時能夠讓公司的目標與需求凌駕於個人的主觀想法之上,能夠客觀地交流,但是同時又能激盪出對公司有幫助的火花。 儘管同樣作為 C-level 的成員,Weicheng 也分享他在加入之時就將自己的心態設定為「相信 Trantor 的領導方向」,也就是當兩人對選擇有不同的想法時,基於彼此的默契和信任,他會支持 Trantor 做出的決定。身為 Cake 的領導角色,Trantor 與 Weicheng 培養出默契與共識,一同帶領團隊與公司快速成長。 Cake 五週年 🍰 如何迎接更多個五年?
