Karim Sarhane

A native of Lebanon, Dr. Karim Sarhane earned both his doctor of medicine (MD) and his master of science in biochemistry and molecular genetics from the American University of Beirut. He lived in the United States from 2012 to 2022, completing postgraduate studies and training at Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Toledo. Dr. Karim Sarhane’s areas of expertise include thyroid, breast and colorectal cancer, in addition to general and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Since September 2022, Dr. Sarhane has treated patients at Burjeel Royal Hospital in Abu Dhabi (Al Ain), United Arab Emirates. He also builds upon his extensive career history as a clinical author and publication editor, serving as both a review editor with Frontiers in Surgery and an associate editor with Frontiers in Pediatrics.

Outside of the professional arena, Karim Sarhane, MD, is an avid music fan who enjoys attending live concerts. He stays physically active by swimming, windsurfing, and playing basketball.
