Measuring the market reaction to AI announcements by utilizing deep learning approaches, dictionary methods, and LLMs (BERT, FinBERT, and FinBERT_AICalls model) 

Project: Sentiment Analysis of AI News and Its Impact on Stock Prices

Conducted a comprehensive study on how sentiment in AI-related news affects stock price movements across industries, including a comparison between IT and non-IT sectors, and before/after the rise of generative AI.

Fine-tuned FinBERT using transfer learning, including a custom model (FinBERT_AICalls) pre-trained on AI-related earnings call transcripts.

Compared sentiment prediction accuracy across multiple models: Dictionary-based methods, BiLSTM, BERT, FinBERT, and FinBERT_AICalls.

Implemented all training, fine-tuning, and regression analysis using Python and Jupyter in VS Code.

REZoo

Developed an educational mobile app designed for animal recognition at Taipei Zoo, aimed at enhancing both learning and recreational experiences.

Implemented a camera-based recognition system to identify animals in real-time, followed by informative content and quiz-based interaction.

Users who answer all questions correctly unlock a virtual animal encyclopedia, encouraging active engagement and exploration within the zoo.

Built with Java and XML on Android Studio, with backend services hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Proposed a ride-sharing solution to address the university’s distance from the nearest train station. The system allows students with vehicles to register as drivers and offer rides to passengers for a fee.

The project was divided into four teams:

A – Animation & Website、B – System Development、C – Media & Public Relations、          D – Event Setup & Logistics

Served as co-leader of Team A, jointly managing 5 team members. Responsible for coordinating task allocation and progress tracking for both website development and animation production.

Attended cross-team meetings to report Team A’s progress and communicate any technical or scheduling issues.
