A former Atlanta native, Trevor Lunsford has more than 8 years of experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory and has specifically focused on advising vertical and application software companies and their investors.

Trevor began his career in Atlanta, Georgia at Cumulus Media working alongside PJT Partners on Cumulus’ Chapter 11 reorganization while simultaneously completing his Master’s in Finance at J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Trevor previously worked at District Capital Partners, alongside leading investors in the Vertical & Application Software space for private equity firms such as Insight Partners, Genstar Capital, Marlin Equity Partners, Stone Point Capital, Serent Capital, and their portfolio companies.

When asked about what drives his passion for M&A, Trevor said, “Whether it’s acquiring a mission-critical capability through an add-on transaction, or advising on a platform investment changing homes and moving to a new sponsor, both open the next chapter of a company’s growth story. Being a small part of someone’s life work and legacy is such an exciting and humbling opportunity.”

Over his career, Trevor has been highly awarded and recognized by a number of organizations such as the M&A Advisor (M&A Advisors 15th Annual Emerging Leaders Award) and his contributions have led to numerous “Deal of the Year” awards.
