Rodney Goodie established Houston’s St. Hope Foundation in 1999 with a goal of enhancing healthcare opportunities for the region's underserved and rural communities. In his role as president and chief executive officer of the community health center, he is tasked with both the long-term strategic direction of the organization and the daily management of staff and immediate business goals. A few of his specific responsibilities include organizational policies and processes development, budgetary oversight, regulatory compliance, and community engagement. Rodney Goodie’s efforts have led to the foundation earning a number of distinctions, including three consecutive years as the winner of both the Top Workplace Award and the Better Business Bureau Winner of Distinction Award.
Under the leadership of Mr. Goodie, St. Hope Foundation has grown significantly over the last two decades. Healthcare services provided by the foundation range from adult dental care and endodontics to nutritional counseling, to name just two of the organization's many areas of practice.
