Sal Rivera is not a practicing attorney but has nearly three decades of experience in the legal profession. In 1995, Sal began his legal career with Fennemore Craig, P.C., where he first served as associate and then partner. He was a leader in the Firm's litigation practice group and represented businesses ranging from small companies to Fortune 500 companies, handling client development and service at a high level. Sal Rivera served on the Firm Hiring Committee and established and led the Firm Diversity Committee. He was an active advocate for firm diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

After 15 years with Fennemore Craig, Sal Rivera launched his own firm, Rivera Law Firm. He handled complex business disputes and regularly helped business owners save their businesses. He participated in mediations and arbitrations and frequently appeared in court. In Phoenix, Rivera continues to advocate on behalf of diversity and inclusion issues as a speaker in the community. He previously served as co-chair of the Arizona State Bar Diversity Task Force and was President of the Los Abogados Latino Bar Association Board of Directors.
