His educational path led him to specialize in Internal Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
During his medical training, Mark sought broader horizons, undertaking a four-month international rotation at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital in Hangzhou, China. This experience broadened his medical perspective, allowing him to gain valuable insights into Traditional Chinese Medicine, including practices like acupuncture.
Throughout his career, Mark Siefring has continued to pursue academic and practical excellence. He has earned diplomas in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University and in Dermoscopy from Graz Medical University in Austria. His educational pursuits further led him to the University of Queensland in Australia, where he completed a Master’s Degree in Skin Cancer. His thesis research on arsenic as a skin cancer carcinogen was subsequently published in the British Journal of Medicine.
Currently, Mark Siefring MD, serves the community at Asante Physician Partners in Medford, Oregon. His role involves patient consultations and performing surgical procedures for skin cancer, among other dermatological and medical issues. His dual certification in dermatology and internal medicine allows him to provide a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing his impact within the medical community.
Mark Siefring MD, also has a rich life outside of his professional duties. He is an avid reader with a special affection for classic literature, notably Herman Melville’s 'Moby-Dick.'
