Master's Student @ National Taiwan University | Silicon APD Design, Photonics
As a master's student in photonics and optoelectronics engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU), I am passionate about advancing silicon avalanche photodiode (APD) technology for applications in high-speed communication, lidar sensors, and photon counting detectors. My thesis investigates the fundamental principles and optimizes the device performance of silicon APDs through meticulous analysis and sophisticated simulation models, using tools such as MATLAB, 2D-DDCC. I have developed a deep understanding of the avalanche breakdown behavior, impact ionization dynamics, and carrier multiplication processes that govern the APD operation and design.
Prior to joining NTU, I graduated from GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY with a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering in 2019. I also gained valuable experience in business development and marketing at BYJU'S, an online education platform, where I generated revenue of over US $300K by managing the sales cycle from prospect to closing independently. I also assisted with inbound marketing strategies and worked closely with the director of marketing and sales managers. Additionally, I was a campus ambassador at Paytm, where I introduced and persuaded 100+ students to use a new payment platform for paying tuition fees, and managed a team of 6 students.
I have excellent skills in attention to detail, manufacturing process improvement, and photodetectors . I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to real-world problems and solutions in the field of photonics and optoelectronics and also programming languages like C, Java , Matlab, etc.
